New Stuff Update....
Exciting news...we're working on a newer, more sleeker version of I Love Manayunk...soon after the new year, you'll be able to find everything a lot easier and more quickly. Get excited!
Also, this week we're running a bit behind with the new articles for the week, because of the holiday weekend. We'll be sure to send out an email and let you know when the new stuff is posted though!

Sunny Winter Saturdays in Manayunk
I have to say, I really love sunny Saturdays in Manayunk. Especially now that its the Christmas season. Manayunk does a really nice job of decorating for the season. I'm sure you've all seen the pretty holiday lights, the garland on the storefronts and the holiday music piped into all the stores. The one thing that irks me about Manayunk during the holidays though, is that its still unreasonable for most of us to shop for holiday gifts on Main Street. That is one of my pet peeves about Manayunk. Unfortunately, the reason the prices of goods in the Manayunk shops are so high is because of the real estate owners. They've made the cost of buying or renting a storefront so exclusive, that store owners must keep prices high in order to pay for their rent!
Anyway...I just thought I'd comment on my excitement of the arrival of the holiday season. I really think that if you're new to Manayunk, or even if you've been here for years, you should plan on setting one Saturday aside to bundle up, grab a hot cocoa or a steaming hot coffee from Bucks County (where I'm sitting right now!) and take a walk down main street to enjoy the holiday buzz. Even if you can't afford to shop in the pricey boutiques on Main Street, at least enjoy the ambience that only comes around once a year, at the holidays, to enjoy what our small town has to offer.
